THE DOUBLE ZIPPER SYSTEM
The Duffy Sail Comfort Seat uses a double zipper system to access the filler material.

NOTE:  The outer zipper DOES NOT have a zipper pull handle.  We deliberately remove the handle to make the seat tamper resistant.  The pellet filler material can pose a CHOKING HAZARD for children.  The absence of a zipper handle also keeps curious crew and passengers from filling your cockpit with foam pellets.

To access the filler matierial, simply bend and insert a paper clip into the zipper pull (we've found the larger office size works best).
Slide the top zipper all the way across the bottom of the seat, exposing the inner zipper.  You'll see that the inner zipper DOES have a handle.  Before you slide the inner zipper open, be sure to shake the pellet filler into the uppor portion of the seat, reducing the tendency for it to escape when you open the inner zipper.  The filler material is extremely light, and we recommend opening the seat where there is no wind.

REPLENISHING THE FILLER MATERIAL
Over time, and depending on usage, the filler pellets in your seat will lose their volume, and your seat can begin to lose its comfort.  You can simply add additional pellets, or after a period of years, you may opt to replace the filler completely.

Filler matierial is available at many large retailers.  The pellets used for indoor beanbag chairs are entirely appropriate for your Sail Comfort Seat.  Add as many pellets as you deem necessary to bring your seat back to its original volume.  Avoid overfilling, as it will inhibit the seat's ability to form to the user.  A little trial and error yields the best results.

TETHER YOUR SEAT
We've provided a handle at the top of the seat as a way to tether your seat to your boat.  Duffy Seats are made to be tossed around the cockpit as needed, and are ideal for use on deck, but it's always wise to tether your seat to a lifeline for security.
